Provider and Owner
Board-Certified Licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist
Carla Hoffman has been proudly serving the hearing-impaired community of the Coastal Bend since 2001. For more than two decades, she has dedicated her career to helping individuals with hearing loss and tinnitus reconnect with the people, moments, and experiences that matter most through personalized hearing solutions and aural rehabilitation. Carla earned her Bachelor of Arts in International Management from the College of Saint Benedict in Minnesota and later pursued graduate studies toward her Master of Business Administration at Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi. She is a Board-Certified Licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist whose extensive experience working with leading hearing instrument manufacturers allows her to expertly tailor hearing technology to each patient’s unique needs and lifestyle. Carla believes hearing care is both a science and an art. She often shares with patients, “There is no single best hearing instrument in the world—only the one that is best for each individual patient.” Her personalized approach, technical expertise, and compassionate care have helped countless patients regain confidence and improve their quality of life. Beyond patient care, Carla has remained deeply committed to serving both her professional and local communities. Throughout her career, she has served on the Texas State Licensing Committee, the Texas Hearing Aid Association Board, and the Board for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. She has also dedicated her time to organizations including Executive Women International, Junior League, the American Heart Association, Kiwanis, Aggie Moms, and PTA. In recognition of her dedication and excellence in the hearing healthcare field, Carla was honored as the Texas Hearing Aid Association’s “Dispenser of the Year.” Education and advocacy are at the heart of Carla’s mission. She is passionate about helping individuals overcome communication barriers and raising awareness about the importance of early hearing healthcare intervention. Her passion became deeply personal after losing both her mother to dementia and her mother-in-law to Alzheimer’s disease. Through those experiences, Carla gained a profound understanding of the connection between untreated hearing loss and cognitive decline. She often reflects, “Had I known the importance of early treatment for hearing loss, I might have had one more dinner, one more Christmas, one more conversation with my loved ones. I never want anyone to miss the opportunity for ‘one more’ with the people they love.” That belief drives Carla’s purpose every day: “To compassionately guide my patients on their journey to better hearing in order to improve the quality of life for them and their loved ones.” Outside of the office, Carla enjoys cooking, fishing, and embracing everything South Texas has to offer with Dan, her husband of more than 20 years, and their four beautiful children. She also loves cheering on the Aggies and supporting sports teams from her home state of Minnesota. Carla’s unwavering dedication, compassionate heart, and commitment to excellence continue to make a lasting impact on the hearing-impaired community she proudly serves.
